Senate confirms Omolola Oloworaran as PenCom DG

After four months on acting capacity, the Senate has on Thursday 21 November 2024 finally confirmed the appointment of Ms  Omolola Oloworaran as the Director General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom). 


The confirmation followed the consideration and adoption of the Report of the Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service during today’s plenary. 



It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in July 2024 requested the Senate to confirm the appointment.
