For pleasures earthly goods afford.

But none can match the wondrous treasure

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Luke 7:11-17

11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

17 And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

THURSDAY 11 SEPTEMBER MESSAGE:

 Divine intervention is when God suddenly appears and allows an occurrence to happen or to be prevented from happening. It is God stepping into your crisis to produce miracles and testimonies  for you. It is heaven coming to help you and turning your mess to a beautiful message. 

It is God offering to help you and save you when the enemy has concluded that you are finished. The Bible has many references of how God came through to disrupt the plans of the enemies and allowed all things work in favour of those who love him. 

The widow Jesus met in the city called Nain must have been so hopeless. She must have felt like all that her life was crumbling before her eyes. She must have given up on life but Jesus intervened! The moment he stepped in, her hope was restored. He brought back her dead son to life. 

Beloved, I don’t know what area of your life seems dead. Is it your health, finances, academic life, marital life? Jesus can bring it back to life! There is no situation that has gone too worse for Jesus’ intervention. He can help you. 

He is our very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:16). Be sure that He will not close His eyes to your troubles. He will help you out of them all if you can humble yourself to pray (1 Chronicles 7:14). 

Dear reader, the Bible says that it is not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord. It also says that by strength shall no man prevail. It took God's intervention for Israel to be brought out of 430 years of bondage in Egypt. It took divine intervention for the Jews to be delivered from Haman’s planned genocide against them. 

It took divine intervention for Joseph’s dream to be fulfilled. It took divine intervention for Daniel to be saved from untimely death in the lions’ den. It also took divine intervention for Mashack, Shadrach and Abednego to be delivered from the fiery furnace. It took  divine intervention for mankind to be saved from eternal damnation and for Peter to be saved from Herod’s sword. 

Surrender your life to Jesus today and He will come through for you. 

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING 

1. Father, thank You because You are divinely intervening in my matter, in the name of Jesus.

2. Thank You because You are bringing every dead situation back to life, in the name of Jesus. 

3. 0 Lord, intervene mightily in all affairs of my life, in the name of Jesus. 

EVENING 

1. Enemies that are hindering my divine help, you are liars, die, in the name of Jesus. 

2. I receive divine help from God today, in the name of Jesus. 

3. O God of divine intervention, appear suddenly in my situation today, in the name of Jesus. 

4. Rain of mercy, my life is available, fall into my life, in the name of Jesus.
