The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), led by Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju,  has extended warm felicitations to Muslim brothers and sisters across the nation and in the diaspora on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Mawlid, which marks the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Unto Him).

Dr. Adeyanju in a message emphasized the significance of the celebration, urging all Islamic faithful to reflect on the teachings of the Holy Prophet, who exemplified a life of goodness and compassion. He encouraged Muslims to use this occasion to foster peace and unity within the country.

Dr. Adeyanju called on the Islamic Ummah to eschew bitterness and pray fervently for enduring peace in Nigeria. He highlighted the importance of extending goodwill and fellowship towards one another, irrespective of tribal, ethnic, linguistic, political, or religious differences. This, he noted, is crucial for building a strong and prosperous Nigeria that accommodates all citizens.

The statement, signed by Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Head of Media at MWUN, concluded with a heartfelt message of unity and peace, urging all Nigerians to come together in the spirit of brotherhood and mutual respect.
